Founded in 2012 by Stephen & Katherine Paine, Haut Maison takes its name from the original premises of the business, La Maison de la Haut, Stephen & Katherine’s home.
The iconic logo, featuring Hanois lighthouse was designed by accomplished local designer, Caroline Cummins, of Little Paper Gallery and has remained unchanged ever since.
Our liqueurs are all made by hand in Guernsey from start to finish, with all of our fruits either grown by us on-island or acquired from another local supplier if crops run low. The average finished batch produces 300-500 bottles and takes six months to make; with no additives, preservatives, extracts or heat used at any point in the manufacturing process.
In 2016, Haut Maison was acquired by Blind Tiger Limited, the parent company of the award-winning bartending service, Apéritif, and will see the range utilised more in iconic events throughout the island and ensure the product reaches more people’s lips across the Channel Islands and further afield in the years to come.
